Scene Three: The Mansion

Andrew frowns a bit when he realizes that the door's locked. "Damn... there's no lock on this side. Guess we can't pick the lock, then." Andrew looks over at Jack. "Well, got anything to open this door? Seems odd that a pantry door would be only lockable from the inside."

Jack's face lights up with a sly grin, "I have plenty of toys to blow it open with now. I can also just bust it in, as could our beautiful rear guard here, I'd imagine."

Khan and Jason Aari rejoin the others in the kitchen. Jason is about to tell the others of their lack of progress, but overhear the conversation and quickly realizes that the others must have found something.

Liza Beth looks back at Jack with a little smile on her lips and says, "Yes I am sure I can if needed. And I think our friends may be in that room or something they don't want anyone to get,so I say we should find out now."

Silently, Kahn concentrates his mental energies on the door, in an effort to open it. The bionic commando continues to 'cover' the door with his machine pistols. Khan can feel the locking mechanism... he can sense it's willingness to give, but it is of no use. Without being able to see the lock, he is having trouble manipulating the device. It seems that Khan's fledgling psionic abilities may not be as useful here... or perhaps he needs just to try harder...

Andrew steps out of the way, and readies his rifle. "Well, I'd prefer a more subtle, stealthy way, but I think the subtlety option may have been thrown out when we had to mow down those `Pogs and giants. Have at it."

Liza Beth smile and says "Why thank you Jack"As she walk up to the door and grabs it then trys to pull it open.

Kahn waits patiently for the door to be opened with his sword drawn.

Jason follows Khan's example by drawing both pistols.
